Debate
An enjoyable avenue to refine critical thinking and public speaking skills
Edvic offers both online and in-person debate and speech training and competition opportunities for students from grades 4 to 11 in school seasons from September to June.
Through professional training, educational resources, competition opportunities, and expertise necessary

- Improve their critical thinking
- Enhance analytical research abilities
- Develop effective speech composition and delivery
- Encourage teamwork
The classes we offer from September to June:
- Debate and speech classes for elementary Students-Beginner (G4-G5) and Open (G5-G6)
- Debate classes for junior high students-Beginner (G7-8) and Open (G8-9)
- Advanced debate classes by invitation
Classes in Spring:
- British Parliamentary training and practice
- News Analysis and Debate Writing
Debate Format
Most classes will be held in the Canadian National Debate Format and British Parliamentary style.
